GENIVAR’s “Renovation of the St. Bruno de Montarville Municipal Garage” project was selected as 2011’s winner of the “International Energy Project of the Year” during the World Energy Engineers Conference held on October 12, 2011 in Chicago.

 The prize in particular recognized an innovative project, outside of the United States, which was implemented with significant success. The St. Bruno de Montarville project consisted of completely recreating the municipal garage to produce a top of the line facility that would reduce energy costs in addition to its carbon footprint.

The award was presented by the Association of Energy Engineers, an organization counting 15,000 members from 84 different countries.
