Montreal, January 17, 2007 – GENIVAR Income Fund (GENIVAR) announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire GLD Experts-Conseils Inc. (GLD), an engineering firm of approximately 50 employees, based in Saint-Georges de Beauce, Sainte-Marie and Levis in the Chaudière-Appalaches Region and at Lac-Megantic in the Estrie Region. GLD is active in the urban infrastructure, transportation, building and environment market segments. GENIVAR expects to complete the transaction in late February, subject to the closing of a definitive acquisition agreement.
