GENIVAR Income Fund Acquires Doucet & Associés, a Telecommunications and Public Utilities consulting Firm
Montreal, May 5, 2008 – GENIVAR Income Fund (the Fund) announced the acquisition of Doucet & Associés Conseils (Quebec) ltée (Doucet & Associés), an engineering-consulting firm specialising in telecommunications and utilities infrastructure.
Doucet & Associés was founded in 1974 and has offices in Montreal and in Quebec City. The firm has 50 employees and has developed expertise in the field of telecommunications including outside networks, integrated distribution networks, switching and transmission, as well as public utilities infrastructure, including telephony cable networks, cable television, and electric power distribution, as well as IP telephony.

Moreover, the know-how in public utility infrastructure which Doucet & Associés brings, particularly in the area of power distribution, will enhance GENIVAR’s expertise in municipal infrastructure projects.
