The traffic circle on Nun's Island is located on a dense traffic road. During the construction, GENIVAR was mandated to maintain fluid traffic for the two months construction period.
GENIVAR had to develop well adapted control measures to manage the high speed traffic in this sector. The drainage at the intersection and the cross profile of the carriageways had to be redesigned. Also, the design was adapted to take into account the existing public services and the bicycle path. The street lights and underground infrastructures were totally recovered for future use.
