Autoroute 40 eastwards has benefited of a noiseabatement structure on a distance of 4 kilometres. Built of concrete, the soundproofing wall – erected in the Anjou area –, is built of an acoustic covering on one side and of composite materials from stone aggregates. The second stream of the mandate included Autoroute 40 access roads pavement resurfacing on a distance of 2 kilometres. Two entrances and an exit were rebuilt, like the viaduct tramps.
