The reconfiguration of the Taschereau Interchange and Highway 10 in Brossard is a a spectacular rehabilitation of an interchange that was built in the mid-1960s, which was in dire need of an overhaul. Among the works GENIVAR has completed were the reconstruction of six kilometres of expressway, and the construction of 16 kilometres of access lanes and a five-kilometre sound barrier. The project also included five overpasses, a new lighting system, and a intelligent transportation system (ITS) which is connected to the Montreal terminal. After seven years of work, GENIVAR has allowed Taschereau Interchange users to access road infrastructures which not only meet modern demands but also provide a functional and user-friendly road network and public transportation system for all users.
