GENIVAR was granted two mandates by the City of Chambly, Montreal South Shore. First project of this kind in Montérégie, the two rotary intersections will improve the flow of traffic on boulevard Fréchette, an important thoroughfare in Chambly. This solution was adopted by the City authorities because of the obvious benefits of rotary intersections: Reduction of potential conflicts between vehicles and other users; Low vehicle speed, even at regular traffic flow; Vehicles always slowing down when entering intersection; Pedestrians and cyclists can cross at separation blocks at entrance and exit of intersection.
