The Donnacona project on the Jacques-Cartier River is a 4,7 MW installation incorporated in an existing concrete dam. Environmnental mitigation measures for salmon such as fish screens and a fish ladder are included in the project construction.
Installed capacity of 4,7 MW with 8 Kaplan turbine groups including 1 double regulated group. Gross head of 7,4 m and a rated power flow of 86 m3/s.
