GENIVAR was commissioned to assist the owner with the project/construction management aspects of this fast-track design/build initiative. Various innovative solutions were implemented, including the contractor’s early involvement.
The project involved the construction of two prestigious 26-storey office towers (combined total of 885,000 sq. ft.), a 22-storey five-star Hyatt hotel (428 rooms/409,000 sq. ft.), a convention centre (55,000 sq. ft.), commercial space (30,000 sq. ft.) and a multi-floor parking garage (1,200 spaces).
