For this fast-track design-build project, GENIVAR provided project management services, acted as the owner’s representative and provided hotel and exhibition expertise. With an area of 150,000 m2, the Oran Convention Centre (OCC) includes a five-star 300-room hotel operated by the Le Meridien chain (totalling 34,843 m2) in addition to a convention area comprising a 3,000-seat amphitheatre, a VIP section, several meeting rooms, a 2,000-seat banquet hall, a two-storey exhibition hall and a 500-space underground parking facility. The project also included urban renewal of the site surrounding the Convention Center.
